Grade 100 Hooks & Hardware

A grade is a way of classifying metals—with a metal grade designated by numbers, letters, or a combination of both. Different organizations create various standards for a given metal grade, which is usually determined by its chemical composition, its mechanical properties, or both.

Grade 100 (G100) rigging hooks are designed for overhead lifting applications, and meet or exceed ASTM A952 and OSHA 1910 standards. Possessing a higher wear-resistance due to increased hardness, there is increased durability with G100 hooks, chain, and hardware—boasting a 25 percent higher load capacity over Grade 80. To that end, G100 chain is the strongest type of chain offered by most industrial hardware suppliers.
