Lifting Eyes

Boasting metric threads that conform to the DIN 580 standard, lifting eyes are a type of machinery lifting eye bolt that has a shoulder under the eye that provides greater stability for angular lifts.

Simple, economical lifting devices suitable for fully vertical lifting in line with the threaded bolt (such as when lifting from a single point or from two points with a spreader bar), lifting eyes are mostly used for permanent mounting to industrial machinery or equipment used for lifting.

Lifting eyes can also be found within a variety of rigging and suspension applications, and/or used as anchor points for other rigging hardware.

A machinery eye bolt has a threaded shank that is intended for use with tapped holes that have been engineered as a lifting point.
