Stainless Steel Hand Swage Stud
Hand swage studs are the most commonly used fittings for cable railing systems. The threaded half of the stud protrudes through the back side of a wood post, and can be tightened using a washer and nut to tension the cable. A jam nut is then secured onto the stud’s end, and a small portion is left to cap with an end cap or acorn nut.
Our stainless steel hand swage studs are available in 1/8” and 3/16” sizes, and are made with type 316 stainless steel. The shank portion of all hand swage fittings must be swaged three times with a hand swage tool.
